Best Supporting Actor Winner and Meisner trained - Larry Calabretta has an extensive theatre background, having trained also at The Ohio State University. After over a 30 year hiatus from stage acting he decided to get back into action and wanted to work in the Film/Television industry. Jumping head first into Film in July 2022 Larry has been very blessed to have acted in over 50 films to date with many Lead and Supporting roles - including the good fortune to have the Lead Role of Paul in the Award Winning film, "Word Search" (Best Screen Play) and the Lead role of Bruce Cooper in the highly praised Orlando Independent Filmmakers (OIF) Challenge film, "The Table". Larry's latest achievement was winning the Best Supporting Actor Award, portraying the role of Don Carlo in the OIF Best Picture Nominated Film, "The Last Supper". Additional work includes roles in three Feature Films - one of which - "The Refugee" - being a multi- Best Picture Award Winner. His wide variety of film work from the dramatic and serious, to the comedic and lighthearted, has made him a very diverse and highly respected actor. Larry is quite grateful to all the Directors who "gave him a shot" and he is looking forward to many more fantastic film acting opportunities.
